Computer Applications Class.

In this class I learned in detail about Microsoft and computer skills.  Had the chance to update my resume and professionalize my cover letter. Learned new things through out the book on how to work the keyboard and all the little tricks each program had. My teacher is a "Fashion Diva" so I learned a thing or two on that too. Websites that collaborate with Microsoft and making a Persuasive PowerPoint based off of 30 min. shows on why you should watch it. Did a Power point based off of my blogs, since I had to make a blog for daily grades. Just know My teacher did her best and succeeded, I am now into the cyber world and I'm staying connected!

Just know two semesters left and I'll be done with college! Excited?! Yes..I don't have to wake up early, stress over finals and make sure every thing's turned in on time. It's all over. I'm free with a Degree! :D If there was one person I had to choose to thank it would be my mom. Right after high school she made me enroll. I took about a year break but I'll still be done while I'm 21. Not too bad if I'd say so myself. The biggest accomplishment of them all, besides graduating, is that I'll be the first to graduate college in my family. Everything is coming little by little but graduating needs to come faster, I'm ready to celebrate and finally put in more hours at work!

Penny Pinching!

Just know, I wish money did grow off trees! I am in the process of moving out with my Game Nerd. Smartest choice? Maybe not but we'll be doing everything we can to save money and make this work. My main thing I'm stuck on is couponing. I coupon on anything I can get my hands on. This source is the next best thing to saving money and not spending it. Plus we get discounts depending on what store you go to so that just helps out even more=) I mean, it is not much but it's a start for now but Every penny counts. Couponing as i said in the blog before is my new hobby so Mr. Game Nerd over there better be ready for a stocked Apartment!

Coupon Love!

                    I wouldn't say I'm this coupon queen but when I have the chance I do go out and save. I spend most my free time shopping because my Boyfriend is spending most of his time playing Video Games. So, I need a hobby too?! Right?? Something to ignore him for the meanwhile! ... anyway, I recently went to Target. They had a sale on their stayfree pads, buy 3 get a $5 GiftCard back. So I bought they whole store:)  Target takes their coupon and the vendor coupon at the same time..I bought the cheapest price which was $2.89. My coupons, Had 17 Vendor Coupons for $2 off and on top of that the Target coupons for an additional $1 off. I got them free. With eleven cents left I also bought the Carefree Pantyliners. I purchased two with every transaction, since the purchase of 3 StayFree pads got me a $5 GiftCard. I had a $.50 Coupon so it was a total of $.61 off the $.99 CareFree purchase. I had a total of 6 transactions and only paid about  $2 total!

The Never Ending Story.





 

Where to start... As of now just know my boyfriend has spent more than 15 hours on this game... the release date, September 19th, Yesterday! No complaining But he got it bad, Just like every other Midnight release game he has gotten. I can call him and he'll  just be like " WHAT! I'm playing Borderlands! Why can't you text me?!"... Yeah, then again that's usually the answer I get for anytime I call him. During the time I saw him play, The game seem pretty cool. Didn't like the graphics but it's playable. Guess it's like a survival type game?! Not to sure, They kill Creatures and take gold... That's all i got out of it. lol It's alright, My boyfriends the nurse, so he obviously heals everybody. Guess he likes to be girls in video games because in street fighter he loves to be Chun Li. Anyways, To make it short, This is what I'm currently dealing with in my time of life.  I even tried to help him fill out a job application but he never finished. Guess I have to wait for him to completely finish the Game, HUH?!

Houston was fun! It was the Family and My Gamer that went. We really never had a chance to sit and relax, we were all over the place. Went to the Kemah Boardwalk, ate a  Landry's, went to the Galleria, the Houston Aquarium and made it out to the Galveston Beach . Rained but we still had fun!

It'z Juicy!

You can call me spoiled, but I think I deserved this in each and every way!  My oh so wonderful Gamer surprised me with it on our way back from Houston. I couldn't believe it.. . I love my Boyfrirend cause he knows the inner me and tries his hardest to keep a smile on my face. Little does he know my smile be cheek to cheek everyday just for him loving me....I  appreciate everything he does. I Love the purse! The material is kinda a downfall only cause it is hard to clean but easy to get dirty. Other than that no complaints, I take it everywhere!

Finally 21!

SO, I turned 21 this past Monday. My week has been great. My Friends have what we call a birthday week or weekend, depending on what day your actual Birthday lands on. Sunday night, not knowing, I spent with my boyfriends friends. Come midnight, They gave me my first shot to start off my birthday week. My first drink was Caribbean Pineapple, That is the drinks current name because I don't remember but if i see the mixture I'll point it out to you! Well recommended drink! Come Monday my girls decided that i wasn't going to just lay in bed and sleep in; so they dragged me out to go swimming. That night, decided i wanted to have a dinner at the new restaurant 54th street with the family and friends. (only because one of the girls works there, said drink specials and five dollar appetizers started at nine) That night was priceless, Parents, Both my uncles and aunt, Closest friends and of course the Boyfriend, Glad they let him off early. That night my aunt bought me my first drink at a public place, Bahama Mama, Was the name, very tropical. After that, the night was done... everybody was ordering drinks and five dollar appetizers, ended up to be a very good night. Made my uncle chug his beer only since he told me i was babysitting my drink, so i said "if you chug I'll chug" and he did. Just my luck, lol. Tuesday morning i had school, but that night we went back to my boyfriends friends house. Didn't really drink but had a good time. Wednesday, had a follow up at a job i applied for and i got it. That had to have been one of the best birthday gifts ever! Start Friday at 8:) Last night, my boyfriend and his friends took me out to Cris Madrid's, Spelling may be off, It was good. Never been but he is always talking about it. Boyfriend took me back home , didn't do much,wanted to to go to the club, but stayed home and continued making the play list for my party on Saturday. As for today, i have school till 5, If i can stay cause apparently everything is a little off today and not going as it should. But hey, everything happens for a reason!

Dear Reader,
I'm not the one sit and write, but this blog thing is kind of a breather. I can start by saying that my man spends at least 8 hours a day on playing video games. How a person can sit and watch the screen for that long, I have no clue. If he's not at work he's playing video games to the point where he has a better relationship with that than OUR own!... and what do I do during this time, you might ask?! Nothing! I'm on my phone or fusing at him to get off and let's go some where. Then I think, Why in the world am I over here fussing if I know good and well that's what he's doing?!...At least he's not out and about going to bars or going out places with out me knowing?! Right?!  I mean don't get me wrong, he goes out with his friends but to go eat or play video games at their house. Even if he does go out to parties, we go together, cause someone has to be the sober driver, right?! So ...As the wonderful girlfriend that I am, knowing he isn't going anywhere, I decided to see what its like to be a video game player. Don't get me wrong though, I am not this "Diva Chick" turned "Game Nerd" but acting like you're interested in something your man loves, just makes him realize that you're just so much more awesome than you really are:)

Note: He is not off the hook yet, best believe, I still want my date nights though!
